Since 1955, when Al Martin opened his doors in downtown Edinburg, area residents have known they could count on his many years in agriculture to help them with their needs.

In 1977 the store was moved to a new location on the "edge of town" - Monte Cristo Road - to be closer to ranchers and farmers and was expanded to larger facilities.  Al Martin's son, Doug, grew up in the family business and joined the firm full-time in 1977.  Today he is carrying on the family legacy, which started 53 years ago.
